Liquorice

This weeks challenge on the NPQ Google+ community page is Black and White so this is what I came up with :)

I painted my usual base coat onto all nails. I then painted all my nails with China Glaze White On White. On my thumb, index and little finger I painted 2 coats and on my middle and ring finger I only painted 1 coat.

On my middle and ring finger I then sponged on a gradient using China Glaze Liquid Leather, Barry M Chai and China Glaze White On White.
Over this I then applied a coat of Ciate Brocade Parade.

On my thumb, index and little finger I stamped these horizontal lines from MoYou Pro Collection plate 01 using Konad Black.

I applied a top coat of Seche Vite to all nails and that is the mani finished. Very happy with the result of this!

Monochrome Matte

Fancied doing a black and white mani.

First after applying my base coat I painted 2 coats of China Glaze White on White on my thumb and ring finger. On my index and little finger I painted 2 coats of Essie Mademoiselle, and on my middle finger 2 coats of China Glaze Liquid Leather.

On my thumb and ring finger painted white I stamped using Konad Black this triangle pattern from Pueen plate Pueen20.

On my thumb, index and little finger I used half of a paper reinforcement ring to create a half moon. I then painted my nail above this using China Glaze Liquid Leather and removed the sticker.

To complete the mani I painted the matte top coat from Barry M on all nails.

31 Day Challenge 2014: Day 7 - Black and White

Day 7 of the nail challenge is black and white so here it is :)

First I applied my base coat. Then on my thumb and little finger I painted 2 coats of W7's Black. On my index, middle and ring finger I painted 2 coats of W7's White.

On the nails painted white I stamped this pattern from my Pueen33 stamping plate. I stamped this using Konad's Black special polish.

I left the middle finger nail as it was. Then on the index and ring finger I used a piece of tape to create a line down the middle and cover the side of the nail that was closest to the middle nail. I then painted W7's Black on the other half of the nail. Once this was dry I used W7's Silver Dazzle along with a dotting tool to go along the line created by the tape.

I added a top coat of Seche Vite and that is the mani finished :)
Another simple mani but I think for black and white it is best to keep it quite simple.

Geometric Sparkle

I wanted to do a black and white mani with some sort of bold pattern, and then I thought I would also add a bit of colour and sparkle so this is what I came up with :)

Firstly I applied my base coat to all my nails. Then on my thumb and my middle and ring finger I painted 2 coats of Barry M White. On my index and little finger I used one of my recent purchases OPI Liquid Sand Tiffany Case. Although I have spoken about this in my previous post with swatches I just can't help but say again how amazing this colour is and that you should buy it!!

On the nails painted white I then stamped this triangle pattern from Pueen plate Pueen20 using Konad black special polish. Love this pattern and it has stamped so well, as does all the other Pueen plates that I have, definitely worth buying.

And here is the finished mani with top coat :)
Black and white together never fails to work and the OPI colour is just so amazing so I love this design.
