NOTD: Delicate Frenchie

After the bright neon colours from my last mani I decided to choose something a bit more calm and subtle.
I saw something similar to this a while ago so thought I would give it a go :)

To start I painted on my usual base coat. Then I painted all nails with 2 coats of Essie Mademoiselle.

For the stamping I used Konad White and selected part of the pattern shown from MoYou Explore Collection plate 22. I really love this plate, this is definitely going to end up being one of my most used plates, as are most of the MoYou plates!
To create the normal and reverse french tips I used sticker reinforcer rings and painted using China Glaze White On White.

To finish I painted a top coat of Seche Vite and that is the mani finished!

NOTD: Point Me To The Skittles

I got some new polishes the other day and one of them was this topper from China Glaze so I wanted to use that and I ended up with this Skittle mani. Went a little bit China Glaze Crazy!

As always I first applied a base coat. Then I used five different China Glaze polishes for all my nails. Thumb is Pink Voltage, index finger is Turned Up Turquoise, middle finger is Flip Flop Fantasy, ring finger is White On White and little finger is Kiwi Cool-Ada. All are neons apart from the white.

On my ring finger I topped the white with China Glaze Point Me To The Party. On all other nails I topped with China Glaze Fairy Dust.

To finish I topped all nails with Seche Vite.

I also decided to do the same as my ring finger on my toes :)

NOTD: Boom Boom Pow!

The weekly challenge on the Nail Polish Queens Google+ community is Pop Art. This is what I decided to do as I haven't used this stamping plate yet!

As always I painted a clear base coat first. Then on my thumb, index and little finger I painted 2 coats of China Glaze White On White. On my middle finger 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Rapid Red and on my ring finger another Insta-Dri Blue By! also 1 coat.

I stamped this small polka dot pattern from MoYou Pro Collection plate 10. I stamped on all the white nails with 3 Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes. On my thumb Blue By!, on my index finger Lightening and on my little finger Rapid Red.

For these two nails I created my own nail decals. For the Bang I stamped using MoYou Black stamping polish, then while on the stamper I filled in with Lightening and painted a clear coat. Once dry I applied a clear coat to my nail peeled away the decal and carefully pressed it onto my nail. For the Pow I did the same thing but stamped with Konad White stamping polish and filled in with Rapid Red.

To finish I painted a top coat of Seche Vite and the mani is finished!

NOTD: Birds Born In A Cage Think Flying Is An Illness

The weekly challenge on the Nail Polish Queens Google+ community is Birds. So this is what I decided to do! Also you may have notice from the new button and the change of photo watermark that I now have an Instagram account. So please follow me @danninailnerd and I will follow you back!

To start I painted my usual base coat. On my thumb, middle and ring finger I painted 2 coats of China Glaze For Audrey. On my index and little finger I painted 3 coats of Barry M Starlet.

Then for the stamping, I only stamped on the 3 nails with For Audrey. On all 3 I first stamped this wavy pattern from Cheeky plate CH10 using Konad White. On my middle finger I stamped a bird using Sally Hansen Insta-dri Speedy Sunburst from MoYou Mother Nature Collection plate 01, and then the cage from the same plate using Barry M Chai. On the thumb and ring finger I stamped bits of a flower design from Bundle Monster plate BM12 using both Speedy Sunburst and Chai.

To finish I applied a top coat of Seche Vite!

Monochrome Rose Passion

I saw a very similar mani in this months issue of the Nail Art Gallery Magazine, so I decided to do it :)

To start as always I painted my nails with a base coat. Then on my thumb and ring finger I applied 2 coats of Barry M Coconut. On my index and little finger I used 2 coats of Barry M Passion Fruit. And on my middle finger I used 3 coats of Barry M Rockstar.

For the stamping I used this rose pattern from MoYou Mother Nature Collection 11. I stamped this on the thumb and ring finger painted with Coconut using MoYou Black stamping polish.

Nice and simple mani, to finish I applied a top coat of Seche Vite and it's done!
