NOTD: New Year Glitter

I have yet another cold! So I didn't feel like doing anything too complicated. Seeing as it's New Year in a couple days I decided that glitter was the answer! Glitter could easily be the answer to most questions <3

To start I applied a peel off base coat, because who wants to scrub their nails for hours?! Today I have used UNT Ready For Takeoff for the first time, I have heard great reviews of it. I also have OPI Glitter Off which I have used before and also works very well.
I then painted 2 coats of China Glaze Liquid Leather on my middle and ring finger. On my thumb and little finger I painted 1 coat of China Glaze Pick Me Up Purple and on my index finger also 1 coat of China Glaze Silver Of Sorts. I will then sponge over more later as this gives more coverage of the glitter without too much build up of the polish.

I used a latex free make-up sponge on my thumb and little finger to build up Pick Me Up Purple. Then on my middle and ring finger I did a of the glitter gradient over the black.

I again used a make-up sponge on my index finger to build up Silver Of Sorts. Then on my middle and ring finger I added some of this over Pick Me Up Purple. I also added a little more Pick Me Up Purple over the top so that there was a nice mixture of the two.

I applied a top coat of Seche Vite to all nails and that is the mani finished. Ahh glitter!! <3

NOTD: Poinsettia

LOVE these!! So Christmassy! Have seen quite a few Poinsettia nails and this Uber Chic Beauty stamp is just so beautiful I had to use it!

To start as always I painted a base coat on all nails. Then on my thumb, index and little finger I painted 1 coat of China Glaze Counting Carats and applied some more with a make-up sponge. On my middle and ring ringer I painted 2 coats of Barry M Coconut.

I then used the Uber Chic Beauty Uber Mat to create the Poinsettia decals. Firstly I stamped the Poinsettia from Uber Chic Beauty plate Christmas-01 using MoYou Black Knight. I then filled in the leaves, first using Barry M Sparkling Ruby, then with China Glaze It's Alive.

Once they were dry I peeled them off and applied like a normal decal on my middle and ring finger. Before putting top coat on you can't see the glitter as well, but it comes back once top coat is applied.

So to finish I applied a top coat of Seche Vite and now look at the Pointsettia's!

NOTD: Snowflake Sandwich

Love this mani!! I don't do multiple stamping very much, but I have seen a few of these snowflake sandwich manis and just knew I had to give it a go. So happy with them!

As always I started off with a base coat on all nails. I then painted a coat of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu on all nails, this is a sheer white polish which is going to help me create a sandwich mani.
I then stamped the snowflake pattern from MoYou London Festive Collection plate 06 using A England Crown Of Thistles. I stamped this on all nails in a different position on each nail.

To create the layers I then painted Don't Touch My Tutu on all nails. For the next layer I again stamped the same pattern this time using A England Spirit Of The Moors, I stamped just slightly off from where I previously stamped. After this I painted another layer of Don't Touch My Tutu. For the last layer I went back to stamping with A England Crown Of Thistles, this time I stamped so the pattern was in a completely different place to the previous layers.
When I started this mani I was intending to do another layer of stamping again with Spirit Of The Moors, however after finishing the third layer I liked the look as it was.

To finish I painted a coat of Seche Vite on all nails.

NOTD: You Can't Catch Me I'm The Gingerbread Man!

As soon as I got my new Uber Chic Beauty Christmas stamping plate this gingerbread man pattern stood out to me, so I just had to use it straight away!

To start as always I painted a base coat on all nails. Then on my thumb, middle and ring finger I applied 2 coats of Barry M Coconut. On my index finger I painted 2 coats of A England Saint George and on my little finger 2 coats of Barry M Sparkling Ruby. I did use sparkling Ruby in my last mani, but it is just such a perfect colour for Christmas manis!

To create my gingerbread man decals I used the amazing Uber Mat from Uber Chic Beauty, and I also used their Christmas-01 stamping plate. I stamped this image onto the Uber Mat using MoYou London Black Knight, I then coloured in gingerbread men with A England Sparks Divine. I applied a top coat over this and allowed to completely dry. Once dry I peeled of and applied like a normal decal.

To finish this mani off I applied a top coat of Seche Vite to all nails.
