Phone Case Inspired Lace and Half Moon

I got this new phone case yesterday, so I thought I would do a mani to match it :)
And yes I know my phone isn't in the case, that's because I am using my phone to take the picture :P

First I applied my usual Seche Clear base coat, and then I applied 2 coats of Essie's Mademoiselle.

Once that was dry I then painted 1 coat of Sally Hansen's Hidden Treasure (this is the new version that has the number 419 also on the cap).

I then used Konad stamping plate m57 along with the Konad black special polish. I stamped this netting pattern on my index, middle and little fingers.

I again used Konad's black special polish along with Pueen plate Pueen14 and I stamped this damask print pattern on top of the netting stamping.

I then cut out from a sheet of label paper these small pieces with a slight curve to them and stuck them near my cuticle on my thumb and ring finger to create a half moon.

I then painted with W7's black and removed the stickers.

I appled a coat of Seche Vite to each nail and here is the finished mani :)

This is it against the phone case and I think that's not too far off really.

Also in the post yesterday I got some more nail mail!
The centre image plate is from MoYou and it is plate number 03 from the Roxy Collection.
The plates around it are from Bundle Monster and they are the CYO set.
Very excited to start using these!!

Guava and Liquorice Confetti

Hi everyone :) here is my latest mani using one of the new polishes from my last post, hope you like it!

First I applied my base coat, I used Seche Clear Crystal Clear Base Coat. I then painted 2 coats of Barry M's Gelly Polish in Guava. I love this colour, I was going to use the Passion Fruit Gelly I bought the other day, but then I just couldn't resist this!

Once dry I applied tape to my ring finger, and also on my thumb, to create a triangle v shape from my cuticle.

With the tape applied I then painted on Barry M's Confetti Polish in Liquorice, I applied quite a few coats until I liked the coverage of the bits of confetti. I then used W7's Silver Dazzle to go along the edge of the triangle. I used a dotting tool to do this and I had to do it twice as when I only did it once the coverage didn't show as much as I wanted it to when I took a picture.

I applied a coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat to my thumb and ring finger. I didn't need to apply a top coat to the other fingers because as you can see the Gelly polish leaves a high shine finish without the need for anything else. And that it the completed mani!

Also I thought I would show you the haul I got yesterday :) these were all from PoundLand so yes they were all just £1 each, so couldn't resit really!
I have been a bit naughty this week as from my previous post you will know I had some other nail polishes this week, and I have also got coming in the post next week a stamping plate from MoYou and the CYO Bundle Monster plates. So I definitely need to not buy anything else for a while now!
From left to right the polishes are Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Man-Go Team! OPI Super Bass Shatter, Shatter the Scale and Black Shatter, and W7's Lavender Pearl.

Nail Mail and Nail Polish App!

Got these lovelies in the post today :)
From left to right they are Barry M Raspberry, Barry M Passion Fruit, Barry M Liquorice, Barry M Truffle and Max Factor Fantasy Fire.
Raspberry is a lovely wine red colour. Passion Fruit is a Gelly polish and is a nice reddish orange. Liquorice is a Confetti and has little strips of black and white in a clear base polish that has a slight sheen to it. Truffle is a Silk polish from the latest range, there are five other colours in this range, but I didn't want to buy them all straight away so I picked this colour to try first :) it is a beige colour which looks really pretty with the silk sheen to it. Fantasy Fire is a polish I have heard about a lot and looks like it gives a lovely finish of green and purple sparkle so am excited to try this one out :)

Also yesterday I got a new nail polish stand, before I just had a 5 tier stand that I couldn't store all my polishes in, so the one I got in the post yesterday was this one which is a 7 tier. They are both from the same company so they are both the same width and they are really well made. And I can now display all of my nail polishes :) which as of today comes to 148! Don't think I am actually very surprised how many I have, and here they all are...

Also I thought I would show you this app I downloaded to keep track of all my pretty polishes :)
It is called Nail Polishes and I downloaded it from the Google Play Store for free, not sure if it is on the Apple Store. You can sort the polishes to show them in colour order, brand order and also most recent. When adding a polish you add a picture, the colour name the brand name and then you have a number of colour swatches to choose from. You can also choose different effects, so if it has a matte finish or is a sand polish then you can choose this. There is also a section for any comments you want to add about the polish  And here is a screenshot of it, although in this you can't see all the options I just mentioned, but if you click on the polish then those options will be shown.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

As you can see my nails are really short and have no shape to them as I am still waiting for them to grow out more, but I wanted to do a Valentine's mani so here it is.
I am not completely happy with it, I don't really like the middle finger but I think it is going to take me a little while to get back into my manis properly as I have had these past few months of not doing them.

First I applied my base coat, I am now using Seche Clear crystal clear base coat. As you saw in my previous post I have now invested in some Seche Vite :)
I then applied 2 coats of W7's White to all nails apart from the ring finger on which I painted just one coat of Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri Presto Pink.
Once this was dry on the index and little finger I created a gradient using a small sponge and 3 polishes. The lightest polish is Avon's Cotton Candy, then Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri Presto Pink and the darkest polish is China Glaze's Heli-Yum.

On my thumb I then used Bundle Monster plate BM-303 and the lips stamp on the right hand side of the plate along with Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri Presto Pink.

This hasn't come out as well as I had hoped, I think if my nails were longer it would look a lot better (it is meant to be a heart by the way lol).
On my middle finger I first used a small nail art brush and W7's Black nail polish to creat a large v shape at the tip of my nail and small v shape by the cuticle of my nail. I then filled this in with Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri Presto Pink.
Also to my ring finger I added some glitter polish, this is a Barry M Limited Edition polish, it doesn't have a colour name but says 334 on the bottom. I find it difficult to take a picture of glitters showing all the colours that it gives off, but you can actually see some of the colours in the bottle of this picture.

I then applied a coat of my new Seche Vite dry fast top coat, and I think I am in love already. It dries so quick and it gives such a smooth and shiny finish. I will definitely be buying more of this! And that is the finished mani :)
