Mermaid Scales

Really annoyed with these! They look so good but then I messed up the stamping a little on those couple nails and smudged it a bit with the top coat. Will have to do another attempt at these in the future!

Firstly as usual I painted on a base coat. Then I painted just one coat of China Glaze White On White on all nails.

For the gradient I used 3 Barry M Gelly polishes Green Berry, Guava and Blue Grape. And on my middle and ring finger I sponged the gradient so that it goes the opposite way to the rest of my nails.

I painted a coat of Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure over all nails. Then I stamped using Konad Black and the scale pattern from MoYou Pro Collection plate 01.

I then finished off with a coat of Seche Vite.

Heart Of Gold

Pretty random mani, wasn't really in the mood but my previous mani was a little chipped.

I firstly painted my base coat. Then on my thumb, middle and ring finger I painted 3 coats of A England Holy Grail (Limited Edition). On my index and little finger I painted 2 coats of China Glaze Liquid Leather.

On my thumb and ring finger I stamped this polka dot pattern from Cheeky plate CH6 using Konad Black.

On my middle finger I used a heart shaped corner cutter to cut a heart shape in some vinyl tape. I then stuck this on my nail, painted with China Glaze Liquid Leather and peeled off the vinyl tape.

I painted a coat of Seche Vite on each nail and that is the mani finished.

Oh My Saint George!

Have wanted to do a colour block mani for a while, I think I will be doing a lot more of them in the future!

I applied my base coat, then on all my nails I painted 2 coats of Ciate Pepperminty.

To create the colour block I used some straight lined vinyl strips to block off sections and paint. I first started by blocking off different sections on each nail and painting with Barry M Chai. I then did the same blocking off different sections on each nail and painted with A England Saint George. I decided at first that I was going to stamp on the ring finger nail, but instead I decided to change the colour to Saint George and leave it plain.

I then painted a top coat of Seche Vite on all nails and that is it!

Simple Lace

I had decided I want to do something simple and knew I wanted to use the nude colour, so I thought lace would go perfectly :)

As always I first applied my base coat. Then on my thumb, middle and ring finger I painted 2 coats of Barry M Lychee (this is one of the Gelly's). On my index and little finger I painted 2 coats of Barry M Duchess (this is from the royal textured collection).

For the lace I chose a design I haven't used before. This is from the Pueen28 stamping plate. I used Konad White to stamp.

I then applied a top coat of Seche Vite to my thumb, middle and ring finger and that is the mani finished!

First Chevrons for 2015

I got some new chevron nail vinyls so I thought I would try them :)

I painted my usual base coat. Then on my thumb and ring ringer I painted 2 coats of China Glaze White On White. On my index and little finger I painted 2 coats of A England Rose Briar/Sleeping Beauty. And finally on my middle finger I painted 2 coats of Essie Hors D'Ouvres, I am obsessed with using this polish lately!

I used the nail stickers and placed them horizontally across my nail (thumb and ring finger). I then used Barry M Grey to fill in most of the spaces, then in one of them I filled in the space with A England Briar Rose/Sleeping Beauty. I did this as quickly as I could so that I could peel the stickers off while the polish was still wet.
For any parts that had gone into the white a bit I used the Barry M White Nail Art Pen to get rid of them.

I then applied a top coat of Seche Vite to all nails and that is the mani finished. Love this one!
