Cath Kidston Inspired

Love the pictures I see of Cath Kidston inspired nails so here is my take on the look :)

Firstly I applied my basecoat then on my thumb and ring finger I applied 2 coats of Barry M White, on my index and little finger I applied 2 coats of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Presto Pink and on my middle finger I applied 2 coats of China Glaze Electric Beat.

On the nails painted blue and pink I then used Cheeky plate CH6 from the Vibrant Collection and Konad white to do a polka dot pattern.

On my thumb and ring finger I then used Konad plate m65 and on the rose and leaves pattern I dotted Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Presto Pink on the roses and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Jade Jump on the leaves. I did this as quickly as I could and then also quickly I scraped and stamped. Some of the pink and green went in different areas, but I still think it gave the desired effect and looks good :)
Also it was much easier than doing the roses and leaves separately :P

And here is the finishes mani with my topcoat applied. I am quite pleased with this Cath Kidston inspired effort, and I am sure I will be trying this look in many other ways as I love the colour combinations and how girly and pretty it is :)

Hope you like it too, and if you have anything to say or any questions please comment.

For the Love of Audrey

So my favourite colour in the world is China Glaze For Audrey, and I am wearing a dress on Sunday that has a bit of this colour in so I thought it was a good excuse to use it! :D

And here is the best colour in the world! This is 2 coats of For Audrey and if you can't see from this picture how amazing this colour is then there must be something wrong with your eyes!! Lol

On my thumb and ring finger I have done a glitter gradient, I used W7 Silver Dazzle and near the tip of the nail I also used Barry M Diamond Glitter. This picture really doesn't do it justice, it looks so good in the sun!! On my toe nails I also used For Audrey and I applied Barry M Diamond Glitter all over each nail, this makes any polish look amazing.

On my index, middle and little finger I have done some simple stamping. For this I used Bundle Monster plate BM-314 along with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Emerald Express. This colour is a shimmer colour and as you can see it stamps really well and it looks so good with this colour.

And here is the completed mani. This is a very simple design and was quite easy to do, although it has been rather hot today so because of this I kept knocking nails and messing them up :( but they turned out well in the end so I am happy :)

Hope you like them too, please comment if you have any questions or anything to say!

Taste of Hawaii and First Attempt at Water Marbling

I thought these looked a bit like a Hawaiian shirt lol hence the title. At first I did attempt to do water marbling, but as you can see below I only managed to do this on 2 nails. I didn't find it too difficult and the two nails came out not too bad, it was just that my water kept getting too dirty and I couldn't clean it properly and in the end I just got annoyed and gave up haha!
The colours I used were China Glaze Grape Pop, Avon Luxe Lavender and Barry M white.

Anyway... Below is each step of the Hawaii manicure :)

First I applied my usual base coat and then I applied Barry M white, I did 2 coats of this on my thumb, index and little finger and just 1 coat on my middle and ring finger, you will see why I only really needed 1 coat in the next picture...

On my middle and ring finger I used a sponge to do these gradients. The colours were all Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes, the green is Jade Jump, the blue is Brisk Blue and the pink is Speedy Sunburst. Love these colours they are so bright and vibrant, hence why I used them for this mani.

I then used these same three colours along with Pueen plate Pueen25 on the white nails and I used the same pattern with Konad white on the gradient nails. I have had these Pueen plates for about a month now and I think they are a very good buy and the patterns are so pretty so if you haven't got them already then buy them!!

And here is the finished mani. I think this is one my favourite mani's I have done that are really colourful, I like the mixture of the gradient over white and the white over gradient. It looks like it was a lot harder to do than it was.

If you have anything to say or any questions please post them.

Thank you for looking :)
